Melanie's Gift of Giving
"I love giving gifts & some of the best gifts are those made with love. Every year at Christmas time I would spend hours baking biscuits that I would package as gifts for neighbours, teachers, friends & loved ones. As much as I loved baking it was rather time consuming making them in such volume. One year I discovered a recipe that instructed the baker to freeze the dough in a roll before slicing & baking into perfectly round cookies. I fell in love! I could now make cookie dough all year & have it ready in my freezer to have freshly baked cookies whenever I needed them – for gifts, for friends popping by for coffee or simply just because."

Three Variations
We’ve had much fun since then creating new variants, playing with different possible combinations and also learned that the cookie dough is as much of a hit uncooked as it is baked! As a frozen addition to a meal drop for a friend in need, the “sandwich” of ice cream sandwiches or a sweet treat when the craving arises this cookie dough is an all-round winner.
As a young child Melanie remembers sneaking dough as her mom baked, delectable morsels that were a sure reward for a baking helper. The Pitcharelloes cookie dough contains no eggs, making it edible uncooked, so now you too can have your dough & eat it!
